Registered Tour Guide at Baywatch House

Our tour guide, Mel is very fortunate to have been born, grew up and currently lives and works in one of the most beautiful environments on earth.

First settled in 1652, three hundred and sixty-six years ago, Cape Town offers in addition to its spectacular beauty, a rich and fascinating history, which relates to many foreign nationalities that have made contributions to the growth of this fabulous destination.

It has been one of Mel’s great pleasures to be able to share the beauty and history with others. This, he has been doing for the past 5 years and hopes to continue to do so, for a long time to come.

Mel is qualified and licensed as a Provincial Guide encompassing the whole of the Western Cape, Namaqualand and the Eastern Cape. His tours also include the Cape Metropole, Winelands, Overberg, West Coast and the Breede River Valley.
